Seonbi Privacy Policy

Seonbi ("the app") is a Korean speaking practice app operated by Hyeonsu Seo ("we"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Contact: seosanblog@gmail.com.

• Account: the email address and account ID you share when you sign in with Google or Apple.
• Learning settings: your goal, level, chosen AI voice, app language and notification preference.
• Conversations: while you practice, your microphone audio is streamed to our AI provider to produce a live reply. We store the text transcript of each conversation, its summary, extracted expressions, translations and feedback so you can review them. We do not store audio recordings.
• Purchases: subscription status and purchase events (product, date, store). Payment details are handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card.
• Feedback: messages you send from the feedback form or the account deletion form.
• Device and usage data: app version, device model, OS, push token, crash reports and in-app usage events.
• Advertising: free users may see ads. Our ad provider may use your device's advertising ID, IP address and ad interactions. On iOS we ask before any tracking.

• To run conversations, generate summaries and feedback, and show your history.
• To manage your account, free usage limits and subscription.
• To send reminders you have turned on.
• To fix crashes, measure which features help learners, and improve prompts.
• To show ads to free users.

We share data only with providers that run the app for us:

• OpenAI — real-time voice conversation, transcription and text generation (audio and transcripts).
• Supabase — sign-in and database hosting.
• Railway — server hosting.
• RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Google Play — subscriptions.
• Google Firebase — analytics and push notifications.
• Sentry — crash and error reports.
• Google AdMob — ads for free users.

We do not sell your personal information.

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account in the app under Settings → Account settings → Delete account. Deletion closes your sign-in account and removes your email address. Conversation records may remain in de-identified form for service improvement. If you want them erased as well, email seosanblog@gmail.com and we will delete them within 30 days.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to object to some processing. Email seosanblog@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Seonbi is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with access controls. Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries.
